Matinees
Afternoon shows are often cheaper and thinner. They are also when you will meet school groups, retirees, and people who work nights. Prime evening

Late shows
Last shows can be gloriously empty or surprisingly rowdy, depending on the title. Add runtime, trailers, and parking hours before you congratulate yourself for being nocturnal.
